We are thrilled that our intermediate results of our validation study for METAglut1™ were shared for the first time at the 30st Congress of the Société Française de Neurologie Pédiatrique (SFNP), a key event dedicated to advancing the field of pediatric neurology in France.
This congress gathered leading experts, healthcare professionals, and researchers to discuss the latest developments, share knowledge, and collaborate on innovative approaches to neuro-pediatric disorders.
METAglut1™ is our innovative rapid IVD blood test, designed to aid the early diagnosis of GLUT1DS.
Glut1 Deficiency Syndrom (Glut1DS), also known as De Vivo Disease, is a rare neuro metabolic disorder that can significantly impact the lives of affected children.
We believe that our diagnostic tool represents a significant advancement in identifying the condition, which can have profound implications for affected individuals and their families.
We were particularly proud to have the intermediate results of our validation study for METAglut1™ presented on a poster by Dr. Domitille Gras, a neuropediatrician specialized in speech and cognitive disorders from the AP-HP Paris Region Hospitals (Assistance-Publique – Hôîtaux de Paris).
About the event organizer
The French Society of Pediatric Neurology (SFNP) is an association established in 1988, currently comprising around 300 members, including physicians, paramedical and medico-social professionals, and researchers involved in the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic neurological conditions in children.
The SFNP fosters synergies across the entire national territory through the organization of an annual congress, meetings, and seminars, while promoting collaborations with similar societies and between diagnostic, care, and research centers.
Additionally, the SFNP is tasked with promoting pediatric neurology in France and ensuring the academic visibility of the discipline. It coordinates the national Diploma of Specialized University Studies (DIU) in Pediatric Neurology and annually funds two research grants for young physicians.
Sharing our preliminary results at the meeting of SFNP 2020 has invigorated our commitment to advancing research and innovation in pediatric health. We are dedicated to collaborating with experts and stakeholders to improve patient outcomes and have the test as fast as possible covered and available.
