February 20, 2019 – METAFORA receives €1M from Bpifrance as a prizewinner of the Concours d’Innovation of the Large investment plan launched by the French Government

METAFORA is among the eight winners of the second wave of the competition, whose innovation projects have great potential for the French economy.
This public grant will fund the development of the cellMETA-analyzer project, a unique platform to detect and characterize tumor cells, merging innovative biology and data science.

The Concours Innovation (Innovation Contest), funded by the French government via the Large Investment Plan, and operated by ADEME, Bpifrance and FranceAgriMer, aims to support innovative projects led by start-ups and SMEs. It promotes the accelerated emergence of leading companies in their field, which can claim a global reach. As part of a procedure favoring competition, it selects innovation projects with particularly strong potential for the French economy. It thus makes it possible to co-finance research, development and innovation projects, whose total budget costs are between € 600,000 and € 5 million.
